PeakCare’s Challenging Silence Conference Program:

The PeakCare Challenging Silence Conference boasts three highly regarded experts in their fields.  Participants can expect to be informed of the latest research and interventions to expand their knowledge, grow as Practitioners and leave the conference with renewed confidence and vigour.  Furthermore, they will have updated skills to apply to their work with clients who have been traumatised through violence and abuse.  It will also lend significant information, insight and support to Practitioners who work with or deal with the consequences of perpetrators.

The morning sessions include the keynote speeches as well as brief introductions by dignitaries (to be confirmed).  The afternoon sessions require breaking into groups for master classes and interactive workshops to learn skills required for interventions, supports and practice in the areas of child protection, domestic violence and child and family well being.

The conference also includes various themed lunches each day as well as a cocktail party and networking opportunities.  This allows for self care and relaxation between a ‘challenging’ and content rich agenda.

The Program is outlined below.
